Our Status Checker tool aimed to help those who are unsure of their immigration/citizenship status work out what it might be and whether they have any rights to apply for UK citizenship. However, recent changes in the law have made it more complex to work out people’s right to citizenship and/or immigration status. For this reason, we have taken the tool offline while we decide the best way to support people in finding out their status and options
